Tai L. Moultrie

Tai L. Moultrie is an accomplished business professional with over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and program management across various industries, including government, investment banking, start-ups, and large tech companies. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of WA and FL and holds an MBA from Webster University.

Tai has extensive expertise in managing complex cross-functional transformation projects, leading programs spanning multiple organizations and geographies, and advising on significant business objectives related to accounting pronouncements, employee experience, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

In her recent roles at Upwork and Amazon, Tai has demonstrated her skills in strategic accounting projects, developing program and project management best practices, and executing educational programs focused on financial literacy and team building. She has also played a pivotal role in implementing various accounting standards and compliance requirements, such as ASC606, ASC842, ASC460, and EU VAT compliance.

Throughout her career, Tai has held leadership positions at reputable organizations like Amazon, Deutsche Bank, Jacksonville Aviation Authority, and the Internal Revenue Service, where she has overseen financial reporting, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and audit processes.

Tai is dedicated to fostering economic empowerment and has actively collaborated with non-profit organizations to provide opportunities for students and employees to develop financial literacy skills and showcase their entrepreneurial stories.  She is a mother and a stepmother to six boys (ranging in age from 24-16).  She is happily married to her business partner and friend, Henry Moultrie.
