Event Recap: Show Up & Show Out Mixer — A Night Above the Skyline

This past Saturday, The Black Eco Chamber hosted the Show Up & Show Out Mixer at the iconic Columbia Tower Club— and the evening was nothing short of extraordinary.
From the moment guests stepped off the elevators and into the 75th floor, the ambiance was set for connection, celebration, and elevated presence. The panoramic views of Seattle provided an unforgettable backdrop for a room full of entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, and community leaders forging meaningful connections and exchanging big ideas.
In photographs from the night, you can see the energy in every exchange — handshakes turning into introductions, laughter shared over drinks, and business cards exchanged over stunning city lights. Attendees arrived in their most confident attire, embodying the event’s theme of showing up as your best self. Conversations flowed from networking to collaboration, and the collective momentum was truly visible throughout the venue.
A standout moment captured in the gallery was the live performance by Shyan Selah, whose Café Noir Project brought an artistic pulse to the evening and reminded everyone that networking can be as soulful as it is strategic.
Another highlight reflected in the photos was the engagement around Debrena Jackson Gandy’s introduction of her 2026 Black Business Cohort program — a moment that stood out not just for the promise of opportunity, but for the excitement it generated among seasoned business owners eager to grow and scale. Guests gathered around, attentive and inspired, as Debrena shared insights and encouraged entrepreneurs to reach for new levels in the year ahead.
Smiling faces around the room also reveal moments with partner activations — including key giveaways from Jazmyn Scott’s Arte Noir and Men’s Wearhouse who provided cufflinks and specialty ties designed to help attendees show up with confidence beyond the mixer.
What the photos capture best — more than the skyline or stylish attire — is the intentional energy of a community ready to elevate together: a room full of dreams in motion, relationships beginning, and opportunities emerging.
To everyone who attended and shared in this milestone gathering — thank you. Your presence created memories, opened doors, and set the tone for a powerful 2026. And for anyone who wasn’t able to join us, stay tuned to BECO’s gallery and event calendar — the best is yet to come.
